Peer Share
Peer Share allows you to easily share clipboard content between PastePal apps on Mac and iPhone devices.
How It Works
- Open Peer Share: Open the Peer Share screen on PastePal on both devices
- Device Discovery: PastePal will automatically discover nearby devices and show them in a list
- Connect: Click on a device name to connect
- Share Content: Once connected, you can type a message or paste content and click Send to share it with the connected device
Requirements
- Same Network: Both devices must be on the same local network (Wi-Fi)
- Wi-Fi Enabled: Wi-Fi must be turned on for both devices (even if not connected to a network, as peer-to-peer Wi-Fi can be used)
- PastePal Running: PastePal must be open on both devices with the Peer Share screen active
Troubleshooting
If devices are not discovering each other:
- Ensure Wi-Fi is enabled on both devices
- Check that both devices are on the same network
- Make sure PastePal has local network permissions enabled
- Try restarting the Peer Share screen on both devices
