Typefu

Type less on your Mac. Typefu inserts snippets with fill-in fields, runs actions on selected text, rewrites with AI on your own Mac, and expands abbreviations as you type, in any app.

What it does

• Snippets: Save text you type often. Add fields like a name, a date or a choice, fill them in a small form, and Typefu inserts the result where you're typing.
• Launcher: Press a shortcut anywhere, search your snippets, press Return.
• Abbreviations: Type ;sig and it turns into your signature.
• Action menu: Select text and a menu of actions shows up next to it: copy, search, translate, change case, add to Calendar, AI rewrites and more.
• AI presets: Proofread, rewrite, summarize, reply and more, running on this Mac by default.
• Dictation: Hold a shortcut, speak, and the text appears at the caret. Transcribed on this Mac.
• Your own actions: Build actions from a URL, a shell script, AppleScript, JavaScript or a Shortcut.

• No Data Collection: Typefu does not collect, store, or track any personal information.
• No Tracking: No data or analytics tracking.
• Your snippets, lists and actions stay in a local database on your Mac.
• AI presets and dictation run on your Mac by default. Text only leaves your Mac if you add a cloud AI provider yourself.
