Shipmunk offers robust App Store Optimization (ASO) tracking features, providing users with critical insights to enhance their app's visibility and performance in the App Store.

To begin tracking ASO for any app, users simply navigate to the app's detail page within Shipmunk and select Track Keywords

Track Keywords

In Shipmunk, users can easily import a list of keywords or manually enter them, separating each with a comma.

Once keywords are entered, hitting the "Track" button initiates the tracking process. Shipmunk then begins monitoring the performance of these keywords for the selected app.

  • Comprehensive Rank Tracking: Shipmunk tracks the ranks of these keywords, offering users a clear view of how their app is performing in the App Store search results.

Keyword Trends

Shipmunk records and displays the daily trends of each tracked keyword, providing users with a dynamic view of performance over time.

  • Competitive Analysis: This feature empowers users to assess the competition by gaining insights into how other apps performing for the same keyword are rated, how frequently they update their content, and when they were last released.

Keyword Optimizer

Users can access the Shipmunk Keyword Optimizer via the top right menu, offering a convenient way to refine their tracked keywords for App Store Optimization (ASO).

  • Streamlined Keyword Collection: This feature automatically collects all the tracked keywords, streamlining the optimization process.

  • Keyword Refinement: Shipmunk optimizes keywords by removing unnecessary words and spaces. This is crucial because the App Store imposes a character limit for keywords, allowing only 100 characters in total. Keywords are separated by commas, ensuring they adhere to the App Store's formatting rules.
