Movable mode

By default, the Side Window is anchored to one edge of the screen. Movable mode detaches it so you can drag it to any position. When you invoke the Side Window, it appears near your mouse cursor rather than at a fixed edge.

To enable it, click the arrows button in the Side Window toolbar. The window is then free to drag anywhere on screen. To snap it back, click the same button again and the Side Window returns to the edge it was on before.

Movable mode is useful when you want the Side Window close to where you are working, without it covering other parts of the screen.
